Please note we do NOT accept Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers for any of our homes!
Currently our requirements for approval are:
- A credit score at 600 or above with Experian
- Pre-tax monthly income that is at least 3 times the monthly rent
- No eviction filings in the past 7 years
- No open bankruptcies
- No owed prior landlords
- No owed utility companies
You will be asked to provide front and back copies of your ID (Driver's License preferred).
You will have to provide your SSN for the credit check.
You will be asked for proof of income and employment. We will contact your employer and you will need to provide pay stubs or other proof.
You will be asked to provide prior rental history. For rental history you will need to provide contact email addresses and office phone numbers for prior landlords.
We do check criminal history.
In the State of Alabama, you must be at least age 19 to rent a home.
Applications are NON-REFUNDABLE. Also, the furthest forward we will date a lease is 30 days. We cannot 'hold a house' off the market on your behalf if you have applied and been approved too early.
We process applications for a property in the order in which they are received.
One application is good for all of the homes we manage and will be honored for 3 months. We will shift an application for you, if a home is rented to another applicant or if the home becomes unavailable. However approval for one home does not necessarily mean approval for another home, as approval hinges on monthly rent amount.
Viewings:
You do not have to apply for a home to schedule an in-person viewing. Call the office to schedule at 334-625-0677. We show Monday - Thursday 9am - 4:30pm and on Fridays 9am - 11:30am. We do not show on weekends, we don't do 'same day' appointments, and we will not show after dusk.
